Hey guys! I think that Wednesdays are my new favorite day. I'm always looking forward to them. It's my chance to help men, to give them ideas and inspire them. I hope it's working. Today I want to talk to you about layering. I love layers, they look so cool. Do you know what I'm talking about? Layering is when you wear a tshirt then a shirt on top and then a cardigan on top and then a blazer on top of that.. You know! Layers of clothing. Well, what I basically love about this trend is that it's ideal for almost every single day. Lately our weather has gone kinda crazy so for example: in the morning it's like really cold, then around midday you want to rip off your shirt and then again at night it gets colder. The thing is that you don't know what kind of weather to expect and that's where layering saves your day. My outfit idea for today is a Friday attire. Friday is the kind of day in which you are allowed to wear jeans to work. So, a nice pair of jeans, a nice shirt and a nice shoe-belt-watch combo and you are good to go, but what if it's really cold when you leave your house and you know it's going to be really hot the rest of the day? You layer yourself up. You can wear a nice sweater on top of that shirt. Still cold? A nice blazer on top of that sweater! Cool huh? Then suddenly it starts to get hot. Take off the blazer. Not enough? Take of your sweater and BAAAM: you are no longer hot. If you start getting cold again repeat the process until satisfied. What I love about this is that WHAT KIND OF GIRL DOESN'T LIKE A GUY WEARING A BLAZER? Guys you look amazingly attractive wearing blazers, no kidding. You can't go wrong if you are wearing a blazer, specially on a date and let's face it, WE LOVE THEM. So, you leave early for work, you wear your sweater. At night, you have that big date and no time to go back and change so just throw in a blazer and trust me, you'll look like a million bucks. Another good thing about layering is that if you are going on a date and your date is cold and she doesn't have a sweater, you can give her your blazer and you wouldn't be freezing either since you are wearing a sweater beneath your blazer. BRILLIANT! Layering not only looks amazing but is also really helpful. I want to talk about the shoes. I've noticed that recently what's in are the oxfords, you know, the round toe shoes. Those pointy shoes you own look kind of last season. I encourage you to buy some oxfords. I personally think they're nicer and look more sophisticated. Remember to match your shoes to your belt an watch, and to match your socks to your shoes. Also, don't wear black and brown at the same time. Well, I guess that's pretty much it! Hola! Que tal? Saben, yo creo que ahora los miércoles son mi día favorito. Lo espero con ansias el resto de la semana; pienso que es porque es mi oportunidad de ayudarlos, darles ideas e inspirarlos. Espero que este funcionando! Hoy le quiero hablar acerca del layering. Me encanta esto de los layers, se ve bastante bien. Tienen idea de lo que les estoy hablando? Layering es cuando nos ponemos una tshirt y encima una camisa y encima d ella camisa un suéter y encima del suéter un blazer.. Ya saben.. Capas de ropa! Bueno, básicamente lo que me gusta de esta tendencia es que puede ser útil para casi que todos los días. Nuestro clima es algo variado durante el día así que por ejemplo: en la mañana hace bastante frío, alrededor del medio día hace un calor que dan ganas de arrancarse la ropa y luego cuando se acerca la noche vuelve a hacer frío. Uno no sabe que clima nos espera y es ahí en donde el layering nos puede salvar. La propuesta que les traigo hoy es un atuendo ideal para los viernes ya que es el día en el que a la mayoría les permiten ir a trabajar en jeans. Así que un buen jeans, una buena camisa y un buen combo de zapatos-cincho-reloj y están más que listos para conquistar el mundo, pero que pasa si cuando sales de tu casa en la mañana hay demasiado frío? Te pones un suéter liviano encima. Todavía hace frío? Un blazer encima! Más tarde te empieza a dar calor, te quitas el blazer? No es suficiente? Te quitas el suéter liviano y BAAAAM: ya no tienes calor. Si te empieza a dar frío de nuevo pues repites el proceso hasta quedar satisfecho! Me encanta por que pues, A QUE MUJER EN SU SANO JUICIO NO LE GUSTA UN HOMBRE CON BLAZER? Chicos se venextremadamente atractivos cuando usan blazers. No estoy bromeando! Es difícil fallar si están usando un blazer, especialmente en una cita y a nosotras nos encanta! Entonces, salen de su casa tempranisimo, sólo con el suéter liviano. En la noche tienen esa gran cita y no tienen tiempo para regresar a su casa y cambiarse así que sólo pónganse un blazer encima y se verán como de a un millón de dólares! Otro punto para esto del layering es que si su cita no tiene suéter y muere del frío pueden ofrecerle su blazer. Igual, ustedes tendrán el suéter abajo lo que significa que no morirán de frío. BRILLANTE! Los layers no sólo se ven bien si no al final son bastante útiles. Les quería hablar acerca de los zapatos. Me he dado cuenta que lo que esta bastante de moda son los oxfords, ya saben esos zapatos de punta redonda. Esos zapatos puntudos que tienen ya están algo pasados de temporada! Así que los exhorto a que renueven su guardarropa y a que adquieran unos oxfords. Yo en lo personal creo que se ven bastante sofisticados y mucho más bonitos que los otros. Recuerden de combinar sus zapatos con su cincho y su reloj y de combinar sus calcetines con sus zapatos! Y de no usar negro y café al mismo tiempo. Creo que eso es todo.. Espero que les ayude!
