Hey guys! How are you? How's your week so far? I hope you are having a wonderful day! Like every Wednesday, we have our men's fashion issue 'cause I want you, guys, to dress to impress the ladies!  So, I'm going to write down some of the tips I've given so far:  

- Match your socks to your shoes and try to create a transition in color from your shoes to your pants. Only if your shoes are white, match your socks to some details in your shoes or to your jeans. 

- Match your shoes, belt and watch.

- If you are not going to tuck in your shirt you can get rid of the belt. 

- Avoid wearing white socks. 

- If you are wearing Bermudas try not to wear socks, or wear no show socks or footie socks.

- Black + Brown = how about no!?

- Must have in your wardrobe: white shirt or light colored shirts. 

Easy huh? Well guys.. Today's fashion approach is a little bit more extravagant. I've talked about this color a million times since it's so useful and goes well with a lot of color combinations, the cognac. This color is wonderful, you can wear it with almost everything. My favorite is navy blue and cognac. This color combination works so well because the navy blue makes the cognac pop out since it's really close to orange, and orange and blue are like the perfect contrast. I think that cognac brings the best out of navy. I just love this combination. The best thing about cognac is... LEATHER. Almost everything in this color comes in worn leather, and let's face it.. Leather is the bomb! So we went for shoes, belt and watch in cognac, navy blue pants and since navy blue it's a dark cool color and we already have a "bright and warm" color we have to choose a light and soft color. Pastel colors are so in right now so why not add some pastel to the outfit. A lilac shirt. I just loved the result. We have dark, warm and soft in one outfit and I think it looks pleasant. 

So here's something you can do when deciding what to wear: 

Combine cool (greens, blues, purples) with warm (reds, oranges, yellows, browns and pinks).

Wear something cool, something to warm it up, something light and.. Voilà, you've gotten yourself a balanced outfit!

Hola! Que tal? Como va su semana? Espero que estén teniendo un lindo día! Como todos los miércoles, tenemos nuestra edición de moda masculina porque quiero que impresionen a las chicas! Así que les recordaré de los tips que les he dado hasta el momento. 

- Combinen sus calcetines con sus zapatos y traten de crear una transición entre estos y su pantalón. Sólo si usan zapatos blancos usen calcetines de algún color que resalté los detalles de los zapatos o de su pantalón. 

- Combinen sus zapatos con cincho y reloj. 

- Si van a usar su camisa de fuera, pueden no usar cincho. 

- Alejense de los calcetines blancos. 

- Sin usan Bermudas usen calcetines de los que no se ven o "footie socks".

- Negro + Café = mmm NO!

- Algo que no debe de faltar en su guardarropa: camisa blanca o de color claro. 

Fácil no creen? Bueno chicos, la propuesta de hoy es un poco extravagante. En muchas ocasiones he hablado bastante de este color por que es tan útil y se ve bien con muchas combinaciones de colores, el cognac. Este color es espectacular, se puede usar casi con todo. Mi combinación favorita es la de azul marino y cognac. Esta combinación funciona tan bien por que el azul marino hace que el cognac resalte ya que es bastante cercano al naranja, y el naranja y el azul son colores contrastes. Me encanta esta combinación. Lo mejor de este color es que la mayoría de veces viene en cuero. Y seamos sinceros, el cuero es lo máximo. Así qe optamos por zapatos, cincho y reloj en color cognac, pantalón semi formal color azul marino y ya que el azul marino es un color obscuro y frío, y el cognac es colorido y cálido debemos de escoger una camisa en algún color suave y ligero. Los colores pastel han marcado tendencia en esa temporada y por que no agregar un poco al outfit? Una camisa en color lila queda perfecta. Me encanta el resultado. Tenemos obscuro, cálido y suave en un sólo outfit y creo que se ve bastante agradable. 

Les doy otro consejo para cuando estén combinando sus prendas:

Combinen colores fríos (verdes, azules, morados) con colores cálidos (rojos, naranjas, rosados, amarillos, cafés). Usen algo frío, algo cálido y algo en tono suave y.. Voilà, han conseguido un outfit perfectamente balanceado.

Vintage Polka Dot

Hey guys! How are you? I hope you are doing fine and ready to start this week! Today I wanted to share with you something with a vintage touch. This dress I'm wearing is actually my mom's. It has this vintage vibe which I love. To spice it up I added a leopard belt around my waist because leopard goes with everything, a cardigan to keep myself warm and some black Sperry Top Siders. This is a really good option for those days in which we don't wanna wear jeans but we want to feel ready for anything! I think this outfit is perfect because it is really comfortable and you could wear it anywhere. It will keep you fresh! What do you think? I hope you like it guys and I think that we should all wear more vintage stuff since no one is going to have the same piece of clothing as you and it will make you look unique! Xoxo, Sophie.

Hola! Como están? Listos para arrancar esta semana con todo? Espero que si! Hoy les quería compartir un look con un toque vintage. Este vestido que estoy usando es de mi mama y tiene esta vibra vintage que me parece bastante interesante y me gusta mucho. Para agregarle vida combine el vestido con un cincho a la cintura de leopardo por que el leopardo va con todo, un suéter tipo cardigans para no morir del frío, y unos Sperry Top Siders en color negro. Es una opción para esos días en los que no queremos usar jeans pero queremos estar listas para cualquier cosa! Pienso que este outfit es perfecto ya que es bastante cómodo y lo puedes usar para ir a bastantes actividades. Estoy segura qe las mantendrá frescas. Espero que les guste! Creo que deberíamos de conseguir más ropa vintage ya que nadie va a tener lo mismo que tu y te hará ver única! Un abrazote, Sophie.

Let the Rain Fall Down

And wake my dreams. Let it wash away my sanity.. Who didn't use to sing this song? Every time I think rain I automatically sing this song. 

Hi guys! How are you? Glad because it's Friday? I surely am! I love rain, everything about it! But what I love the most, besides its smell, is the fact that I can wear my rain boots! I wear them everytime the sky looks gray. I take every opportunity in order to match them with different outfits. Today's rain boot approach combines black and red. I'm wearing a little black dress with a red coat and black rain boots! I'm always looking for ideas and inspiration to reinvent my rain boots and I came up with this because I wanted to wear a dress. I love the result. Perfect for a rainy Friday like today! What do you think? I think it looks fresh and the coat will keep you hot anyways! Would you wear it? Hola! Que tal? Felices por que ya es viernes? Yo si! Amo la lluvia, todo sobre ella. Pero lo que más amo,  aparte del olor a tierra mojada que deja, es que puedo usar mis botas para lluvia! Las uso siempre que veo que hay posibilidad de lluvia. Y obvió siempre aprovecho para combinarlas de diferente forma. El look de hoy combina el rojo y el negro. Estoy usando un vestido negro de manga 3/4 con un abrigo rojo y botas para lluvia negras. Siempre estoy buscando nuevas ideas e inspiración para reinventar estas botas y se me ocurrió esto por que quería usar vestido. Y me encantó el resultado! Perfecto para viernes lluviosos como hoy. Que piensan? Me gusta que sea y se vea fresco pero que el abrigo me mantenga caliente cuando sea necesario. Lo usarían? Espero que tengan un buen día y un excelente fin de semana! Hey guys! It's Wednesday again so you know what that means, men's fashion! Today I want to share with you an ultra casual look. If I had to describe it with one word it would definitely be "fresh". Perfect for you guys to hang around, go to the university, run some errands, go to the movies, a casual date.. Perfect for a lot of activities. The things is that most of the time guys dress up like this, just a tee, some jeans and sneakers. Men are far more simple than us women. This outfit goes beyond simple, like seriously there's nothing complicated, BUT you have to keep in mind what goes with what and how to wear white sneakers. It's all in the details. Do you remember that I told that you were allowed to wear white no show socks with sneakers? Even though you are allowed to I would leave it as a last resort and only if they're no show. Just try to stay away from white socks. Go for a color that matches the outfit. In this case we went for some blue no show socks that highlight the blue accents of the sneakers and flow into the blue jeans. Talking about things I've said before, all rules are meant to be broken. So that shoe-belt-watch combo, let's brake that rule! If you are not gonna tuck in your shirt, you can get rid of the belt. I know you are not going to have a belt in every color and for this outfit a white belt would overload it. Wearing a white watch is already too much, it stands out. Can you picture the outfit as it is with the white belt? Way too much white and it would look overdone. It would lose its freshness and who doesn't want to look fresh? Hola! Llego el miércoles y ya saben que significa eso, moda para hombres! Hoy les quiero compartir un look ultra casual. Si lo tuviera que describir con una palabra definitivamente sería: fresh. Perfecto para salir, hacer mandados, ir a la universidad, ir al cine, una cita casual.. En fin, perfecto para varias actividades. Y es que los hombres se visten así la mayoría del tiempo, una playera, unos jeans y tenis. Los hombres son, por mucho, más simples que nosotras. Este atuendo va más allá de la simplicidad, en serio, no tiene nada complicado en el pero siempre debemos de tener en cuenta que combina con que y como usar tenis de color blanco. Todo esta en los detalles. Se recuerdan que les dije que podían usar calcetines cortos color blanco con tenis? Aún cuando pueden hacerlo, yo sinceramente lo dejaría como último recurso y sólo si son de esos cortos que no se ven. Traten de mantenerse alejados de los calcetines blancos. Escojan un color que le combine al atuendo. En este caso, optamos por unos calcetines cortos de color azul marinó ya que acentúa los detalles de los tenis y crea esa transición hacia los jeans. Hablando de cosas que he dicho antes, las reglas fueron hechas para romperse. Así que el combo de zapatos-cincho-reloj, rompamos esa regla! Si no van a meterse la camisa dentro del pantalón, no es necesario usar cincho. Yo se que no van a tener cincho del mismo color que todos sus zapatos y para este outfit un cincho blanco lo haría verse demasiado cargado. Pienso que suficiente con el reloj blanco ya que llama bastante la atención. Se pueden imaginor este look como esta con un cincho blanco? Demasiado blanco y perdería su frescura. Y quien no quiere verse fresco? Creo que eso es todo por hoy! Espero qe les sirva mucho y que se puedan inspirar! Que tengan un excelente dia! Les mando un abrazote, Sophie.

You Gotta Love Them Sperry.

Hey guys! I think that we officially ran out of Sun, the sky is falling down! It's pouring like crazy. Thank God that we had a little bit of Sun this weekend. I wanted to share with you what I wore on Saturday. I wore a peplum shirt, with some jean shorts and Sperrys. Really simple. I wanted it to look relaxed without losing femininity that's why I went for a lace peplum. Lace gives every outfit this gentle feminine touch. These Sperry slip on boat shoes are so comfortable, soft, they caress my feet. Seriously.  And the colors, so pretty. Since it was really hot I decided to wear shorts and I think they looked perfect with the Sperrys. I added a neon belt to brighten it up a little bit more. I was also carrying a pink jacket in case it got colder, which it did, so it kinda saved my life. And to finish my look a white beach bag and details in white and silver. What do you think? Hola! Que tal? Creo que oficialmente no quedamos sin sol, el cielo se esta cayendo! Esta lloviendo grueso. Gracias a Dios este fin de semana hizo un poco de sol y aproveche para usar shorts así que les comparto el look que usé el sábado! Usé una blusa estilo peplum, unos shorts de lona y unos Sperrys. Bastante simple. Quería un look que se viera relajado pero que no perdiera ese toque femenino por eso usé este peplum de encaje blanco. El encaje le da ese toque femenino y sofisticado a los outfits. Los Sperry que usé se llaman slip on boat shoes y son súper cómodos, suaves, siento que acarician mis pies. Es en serio. Y los colores, bastante lindos. Como había bastante calor decidí usar shorts y pienso que se ven bien con los Sperry. Le agregué un cincho en amarillo neón para darle un poco más de vida. También andaba cargando una chumpa rosada  por si me daba frío más tarde y tuve razón, me salvó la vida. Para terminar mi look una cartera blanca de playa y detalles en plateado blanco! Que les parece? Espero que les guste y que lo puedan usar para ir a la playa o a algún lugar caliente por que aquí en la ciudad va a estar difícil! Que hayan tenido un excelente inicio de semana!
